Old School Swag grew out of my interest in figures who left a visible mark. Their stories draw very different reactions — sometimes opposite ones. In this collection what I look at is the person: character, sovereignty, an inner spine. I’m interested in how someone carries themselves, how they look, how they take up space — and why their image stays with us. Through sculptural form, contrast lighting and telling detail I translate that presence into the language of digital painting.
